Stoney Lake Cafe & Restaurant

My friend and I were getting candy at the store, when this strange man followed us. When we were checking out, the man went outside and stayed there. The lady at the desk caught on and told us to stay inside until he’s gone. Eventually she had to go outside and talk to him because he wouldn’t leave. She told us he didn’t say anything and went around the corner, so she let a passerby know so that they could keep an eye on us when we walked home. She let us go once she was sure we were safe, and she set an example that all store workers should learn from.

Small town restaurant good people drink some coffee and relax your foods coming.

I don't live in Michigan. I live in Wisconsin but for as long as I can remember...every other summer I'd go to the family cottage and going to the Stony Lake Store was ALWAYS a stop in our day. When my grandfather was alive...we'd take the boat across the lake to get the morning paper and a sweet for myself. My family used to rent tubes and we'd go down the channel to Lake Michigan. To this day I take my son to the Little Store because he loves checking out the fishing tackle and getting Ice Cream. This store has a lot of fond memories for me and for my family. Love love love coming here whenever I can.

Every time I've tried eating at the cafe it's always a problem. One time a few years ago we went in when the music festival was going on we were say right away and got drinks pretty fast but then nothing. A table came in after us filled with kids from the festival and they were served food before me and my wife even ordered. We left after we saw them getting served food. I left five bucks on the table for two glasses of orange juice and told myself id never come back. Then i decided to give them another shot this weekend. Went in and no tables were available. Tried to see if i could order food to go but the one lone worker seemed too overwhelmed. Will never try the cafe again and the store itself has gone way down hill. Had to wait to pay for coffee creamer because only one person was cooking, serving, and working the store.

Love this place! From breakfast to dinner whatever I've order has always been great! Front to back menu with tons of choices. The french dips are wonderful with some fat fries. The pizza is awesome as well. Staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Seating inside and outside is comfortable.

Cute love the outside deck. We had burgers which were hand made. fresh grilled chicken and hand cut french fries it was amazing.
